Surprise

There is a divine mystery—a secret surprise that has been concealed from the world for generations, but now it’s being revealed, unfolded and manifested for every holy believer to experience.  ~Colossians 1:26

It’s a secret surprise! For you and for us. It’s a mystery that was concealed and is now revealed:

Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!   ~Colossians 1:27

It is the spiritual union, a joining of God and man together. We are no longer led by external rules and regulations. [These things are not bad and we need them to have a civil society that includes all humans.] But for us, who know we are the children of God, who willingly receive this incredible gift… we are led by the inner guidance and counsel of the Holy Spirit. 

We are learning to walk in love. In love there is a vast freedom. A freedom of wide open spaces where we need not fear or cower, retaliate or manipulate. We are free to love all people. We are free to gather and inspire and encourage and lift up. We are free to help and to honor and to bless. This is a magnificent day we are living in! Where we  get to live according to the freedom that God's love brings.
