Our Reality

"(Jesus) has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life." - Hebrews 7:16

Think about what "eternal life" means.  To think of it makes your brain widen it's scope in a huge way.  We begin to conceive of something so big that we can't see the beginning or end of it.  Something this big must be superior to anything that is limited to a temporary existence.

This is our reality.  We are living forever, forever with God, and that includes living with Him now in every moment of our existence, whether in this body or not.  The truth is, we are really bigger than anything we face in the temporal realm.  We are forever.  Tribulation is not.

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33

An eternal mindset is a big mindset, an expanded mindset, a truth mindset.  It sees the big picture, therefore it is at peace. 

A temporal mindset is like looking at life through a keyhole.  Problems can fill our field of vision because we don't see the big picture of truth.  We don't see all of the Life, Love, and Heaven around us.

I thank God for His Spirit in us.  He is the revealer of truth.  That's why He's the Comforter.  He shows us what has been freely given to us.  We once were blind, but now we see, and we stand in awe as we behold the beautiful vista of eternal Life.
